Sama Karate orginisation has been established since 1978 and we are on of the largest professional Karate and Kickboxing groups in the south of england with over 7000 members training weekly in five countrys. Locally we have been running classes in junior and primary schools, community centres and some secondary schools in the Waterlooville and surrounding areas for the last eight years, and have recently established additional classes in Fareham and some new classes in the area. A typical class involves an hours training consisting of:
-15 minute warm up stretch
-The next 30 minutes is devoted to the study of traditional non contact Karate
- The last 15 minutes usually involves a cool down game
Our sucess is due to the fact we have a tried and tested formula, which gets children intrested in health and fitness which slowly introduces them to the community that is SAMA KARATE with regular belt tests, competitions, awad ceremonies and holiday time traing courses. our syllabus is also second to none in that it works with the individual student starting with basic introduction to the rules and moves, and as belts are gained students are encoraged to try progressively more challenging moves and concepts, which , inevitably leads to the coverted black belt
